Dar es Salaam University Vice-Chancellor Professor Rwekaza Sympho Mukandala made a four days visit  ( September  9th  to  12th,  2013 ) to The People’s Republic of China. The purpose of the visit was to sign an agreement on academic exchange and collaboration between University Dar es salaam and Tianjin Medical University.

On 10th September, 2013 University Dar es salaam and Tianjin Medical University signed agreement on academic exchange and collaboration between the two institutions, signing the memorandum of understanding (MOU) The document was signed for University of Dar es Salaam by Vice Chancellor Professor Rwekaza Sympho Mukandala and by Professor Yongfeng Shang Tianjin Medical University President.
